In 1985, on the occastion of the 200th anniversary of the Thalang War, Phuket Province, with the cooperation of the Fine Arts Department, established the Thalnag National Museum. The museum stands as a monument to honor these two courageous woman, and is a repository of history. Thalang National Museum houses ancient artifacts from Phuket's long history are on display, including exhibits detailing the famous Battle of Thalang involving the Two Heroines, daily life in Phuket, and the Sea Gipsy culture. The Thalang National Museum was inaugurated on March 14, 1989 by H.R.H. Princess Sirinthorn. Open daily from 8:30am to 4pm except public holidays. Admission cost 30 Baht per person.
